About Our Solar Work in Allen, TX

We install, repair and maintain solar on homes, and we pay close attention to what happens after a storm. Our work starts with finding the cause, whether that is a cracked module, a loose connector or a faulted inverter. Then we explain it plainly before anything gets replaced.

A solar company that starts with the cause

Allen Solar Installation designs and installs solar panel systems and battery storage for homeowners, and we keep servicing those systems once they are running. That second part matters. A rooftop array spends its whole life outdoors, and the parts that fail are rarely the ones people expect. Tempered module glass usually holds up. Connectors, wire management and inverters are where trouble tends to start.

After a hail or wind event, many homeowners see a drop in production on their monitoring app and are not sure what it means. We check the array in a set order: module glass and frames for cracks or impact marks, racking rails and attachment points for movement, MC4 connectors and wire clips for strain or chafing, then the inverter or microinverters for fault codes. You get photos of what we found and a clear reason why each item matters.

If the system can be repaired, we say so. If a module needs replacing, we tell you which one and why. When an insurance claim is involved, we can document the damage and walk you through how the process usually goes, but your adjuster makes the coverage decisions, not us.

How we handle every job

Diagnosis before parts

A production drop can come from shading, soiling, a failed optimizer or a ground fault. We test to find which one before recommending anything, so you are not paying for parts that would not fix the problem.

Photos and a written estimate

Every inspection comes with photos of the actual components we looked at. Estimates are written line by line, so you can see what is labor, what is equipment and what is permitting.

Care at the mounting points

Crews protect the surface around each attachment and seal every penetration we make for the solar mounts. When we leave, wire scraps, old clips and packaging leave with us.

Accountable to an outside reviewer

We are BBB Accredited with an A+ rating. It reflects how we answer questions and resolve complaints, and every job is a chance to keep it that way.

Where we work

Our crews serve Allen and the towns that border it, among them Plano, McKinney, Frisco, Fairview, Lucas, Parker, Murphy, Wylie, Richardson and The Colony. Spring hail and long summer heat put the same stresses on wiring and modules throughout North Texas, so the post-storm checks we run follow one routine no matter which of these towns your home is in. The Service Areas page lists every community we cover.
